Use it to
Cook - Cream of Tartar is most commonly used in cooking. Mix Cream of Tartar and Sodium Bicarbonate in the ratio 2:1 (respectively) to make a simple baking powder. Cream of Tartar is added to egg whites or whipped cream to increase the strength of the bubbles to give a stiffer consistency.
Cleaning - Cream of Tartar can be added to an acidic liquid such as vinegar or lemon juice to make a cleaning paste. This is good for cleaning metals including copper, brass and aluminium.
Play Dough - Cream of Tartar is also used in the making of play dough and can be used to make your own play dough at home (with other ingredients).
