This Organic Darjeeling Black Loose Leaf tea (Camellia sinensis) is from West Bengal in Northern India, in the foothills of the Himalayas – one of the oldest tea-producing regions in India. It was originally cultivated when the British brought tea plants from China, looking for similar climatic conditions. Known as the ‘Champagne of teas’, Darjeeling is renowned for having an astringent and muscatel-like taste.
